Nuts Again socks to be frogged

Lessons learned: gauge swatch, read a pattern carefully and notice the size, trust my instinct and stop knitting sooner rather than later, a good design is a good design regardless of my knitting mistakes, and it's acceptable to frog a project.

Sorry to hear about the guage problem. If you really like the nutkin pattern, and want to make it out of this yarn, I think, it'd be really easy to go up and needle size or two and the socks would probably fit. Since the yarn is already a thicker weight, it wouldn't harm the fabric integrity too much.
